About the site
Fee math sellers can inspect
Sell After Fees is an independently operated calculator site for US marketplace sellers. It exists to answer one practical question before a listing goes live: what will you actually keep?
Why Sell After Fees exists
A marketplace's headline percentage rarely tells the full story. Category tiers, fixed order charges, tax and shipping fee bases, ads, performance surcharges, and packaging can turn a promising sale into a poor one. These calculators put those costs on a single, readable receipt so payout and true profit are not confused.
How the calculators are maintained
Rates come from official eBay, Etsy, Whatnot, USPS, UPS, and FedEx pages. The fee rules live in one versioned data set and calculation behavior is covered by automated regression tests, including thresholds and tax bases. Every calculator publishes its source links and the date the rules were last checked. The complete process and public change log are on the methodology and sources page.
Editorial and affiliate independence
Calculator results are free, immediate, and never altered by a commercial relationship. Recommendations may eventually use clearly labeled affiliate links, but partners cannot pay to change a fee, formula, result, or source. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
Corrections and contact
Marketplace rules change and account-specific promotions can differ. If a published rate does not match an official policy or your seller statement, email info@sellafterfees.com. Include the marketplace, category, and a link or screenshot when possible so the discrepancy can be reproduced and documented.
